The Psychedelic Participant Advocacy Network (PsyPAN)
The Psychedelic Participant Advocacy Network (PsyPAN) is a global network set up to connect participants who have received psychedelic-assisted therapy via clinical trials and at legal treatment centres worldwide. Via consultancy, public patient involvement, including working groups, and public advocacy work, PsyPAN draws upon people’s lived experiences to help amplify and represent participant voices and help safeguard future participants receiving psychedelic-assisted therapy. PsyPAN works with organisations providing these treatments to help create better treatment models and help shape a sector-wide model of best practice. PsyPAN is also establishing peer support spaces for people to access post-treatment, a source of community and connection that we believe is essential to longer-term positive treatment outcomes and a sector-wide responsibility to create and maintain.
